Fall Is Love!

Anyone else dying over the amazingly cool temps we are getting? Well here on the Cape (Massachusetts) it has started getting cooler, this week's highs are all in the lower 50's and you bet I am amped about that, cold weather is my best friend! While I am already listening to Christmas music, I am still focused on Halloween coming up and here is a look at the cute fall decor in my house!

A Return To Makeup

Okay so I will be the first person to cop to an addiction to makeup. I wear it nearly every single day even if I'm only whacking on a bit of mascara and a lip balm. But sometimes I will somehow go well over a week without wearing anything. I try to make sure to moisturize as much as possible during my "time off" from makeup so I can baby my skin. In short, part of me loves not wearing makeup.

But I wouldn't be the glam bear if I didn't eventually get back to beating my mug. (For those of you not familiar with drag, beating one's mug means making up one's face.) I don't know what all your hobbies and passions are, but makeup and putting it on my face is mine, so when I finally put on some after several days of not doing so, I feel electric. When I see my finished product, I shamelessly stare at what I've done, I love a made up face because I can appreciate the effort and skill it takes to pull off a full face.
